Forty foreign students participated in a solemn procession in the Kazan Kremlin on Russia Day
The Peoples Friendship Parade in honor of the Day of Russia was held on June 12. The solemn event started from the Kazan Kremlin, where representatives of 30 nationalities gathered. Forty KNRTU-KAI foreign students from 11 countries, such as Nigeria, Chad, Senegal, Syria, Afghanistan, Egypt, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Ecuador, took part in the parade. They marched with folk dances and songs all the way from the Suyumbike Tower to the 1st May Square.
Our students not only enjoyed themselves thoroughly, but also were able to get acquainted with Russian national traditions.
